Organizations around the world are teaming up to clean up our pollution problems. People don't want to see innocent creatures suffer. This poor penguin got caught in an oil spill, but we cleaned him up and he survived. to see another day. | |||||||||||||||||||||||
| We Are Still Working On Smog | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
|
Smog pollution is still being caused by humans driving around in there cars and trucks. In the state of California, people are required by law to get anual smog checks on their vihicles. Since this law was passed the smog has gone down quite a bit, but it still remains as long as we are burning fossil fuels, and releasing chemicals into the air. | |||||||||||||||||||||||
| Sewege Is Better | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
In the US the rate of sewege has gone down a great deal over the past decade. We have built up a large number of sewege plants, and | are much more catious about things draining into the ocean.
